Planning & Designing Complete Streets

What is a complete street? FHWA is promoting complete streets as a means to achieve our goals for safety, livability, equity, and more. This workshop will introduce participants to the concept, provide examples and illustrations, and foster discussion to help participant see opportunities to advance complete streets for their state or community.

Target Audience
• This course is designed for transportation professionals, traffic engineers, roadway designers, public health officials, public safety officials, public works officials, and project managers who want to learn how to plan and implement Complete Streets policies.

There is a maximum of 40 seats for this training and since this is an FHWA provided training, priority to attend will be given to NDOT, MPO's, & locals.  If there is any available seats approximately 2-weeks prior to the start of the session then any open seats will be made available to consultants representing counties and locals.

Training Times: 8:30am - 5:00pm in Lincoln, NE
