NDOT Flagger Certification Course

This online course is for people seeking a two-year NDOT Flagger Certification and establishing eligibility to work on NDOT-administrated projects. Upon completion of this course participants will be able to identify TTC zones, basic devices, and protect workers and the traveling public. NDOT employees should seek flagger certification through a supervisor before taking this course.  We suggest that you take notes as you view the videos, as you will not have access to video modules once you've begun the certification exam.  

NDOT-Certified Flaggers are expected to have proof of their certification with them while flagging. Print your certificate at 25% for a wallet-sized copy or save a screenshot on your cellphone for documentation for an NDOT inspector.

Contractors wishing to administer flagger certification in a classroom setting should email NDOT.Const-Flagger-ATCMAdmin@nebraska.gov to request instructor authorization. The email should include the instructor name, company name, and a copy of the instructor's flagger certification card. (Instructors must have taken and passed the Flagger Certification test.)
